I've spent six-plus years building design, development, and digital marketing work in-house and seven-plus years doing the same kind of hands-on work as a freelance developer. Those years overlap, which is the point: I've shipped agency-grade builds and independent projects side by side long enough to know where each one breaks.

What clients hire me for isn't a methodology. It's having one person who writes the code, reviews their own pull requests, checks the build against the brief, and tells you the truth about the timeline while there's still time to do something about it.

I work with founders, marketing heads, and agency owners who need someone who can actually build the thing, not just plan it. Sometimes that's a full build from brief to launch. Sometimes it's a project four months late that needs rescuing. Either way you get a written scope, a working build you can see progress on, a weekly status you can forward to your board, and a single number to call.

98% of my freelance clients come back. Not because of a process document, but because nothing on their project ever went quiet.

Seven things I get hired to run.

Most engagements combine two or three: a UI/UX phase feeding a web build or a SaaS release followed by a growth program. One schedule covers all of it.

UI/UX design

Research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that run from brief to signed-off, developer-ready files, with revision rounds capped and every decision logged.

ResearchPrototypesDesign systems

Web development

Marketing sites, e-commerce, and headless CMS builds delivered through sprints, QA gates, and managed releases. Core Web Vitals and technical SEO are acceptance criteria, not afterthoughts.

SprintsQA gatesReleases

Enterprise applications

Internal tools, portals, system integrations, and legacy migrations run with change control, stakeholder sign-off gates, and a cutover plan that survives contact with a real user base.

IntegrationsMigrationsChange control

SaaS delivery

MVP to v2 delivery for SaaS products: roadmap, release trains, multi-tenant rollout, and the post-launch iteration loop where most products quietly stall.

Growth marketing (SEO)

I run technical SEO, content programs, paid campaigns, and analytics under one plan and one dashboard, so spend, rankings, and pipeline sit on the same page instead of in four tools.

Branding

Identity, naming, messaging, and brand guidelines, plus the part most projects skip: rolling the new brand across every touchpoint that already exists, on a tracked schedule.

AI & automation

I cover scoping and delivering AI features, internal copilots, and workflow automation, from pilot to production, with evaluation criteria agreed up front and human review built into anything that touches a customer.

Atreya Hospital: SEO performance audit & growth roadmap

Growth marketing (SEO) · 30-day roadmap · Thrissur, Kerala

Ran the July 2026 SEO performance audit for Atreya Hospital, a NABH-accredited multispeciality hospital in Thrissur, pulling data across Search Console and GA4 to diagnose why a strong-traffic month was converting almost nobody. Delivered a root-cause analysis on a late-July traffic dip, flagged the technical debt suppressing performance, and built a 30-day action roadmap with quick-win fixes this week, structural fixes this month, and the case for a full site rebuild.

SIMS Capital: financial services site design & development

SIMS Capital, an RBI-registered NBFC in Palakkad offering gold loans, mortgage, personal, and vehicle loans plus NCD investments, had no functioning site to bring customers online. Designed and built one from scratch: a live gold-rate ticker, an interactive loan calculator, and a full product and application flow across five loan types, taking them from zero digital presence to a working acquisition channel.

Questions

Questions clients ask before they hire a freelance developer.

What does Adarsh P Kumar do?

He is a freelance developer who builds UI/UX design, web development, enterprise applications, SaaS products, growth marketing and SEO, branding, and AI and automation projects end to end. He owns scope, schedule, budget, and delivery so founders and marketing heads don't have to manage a team of contractors themselves.

How much experience does he have?

Six-plus years building design, development, and marketing work in-house and seven-plus years doing the same kind of work as a freelancer, with 13 years total, split across agency-side and independent delivery. That overlap is why the process holds up under real deadlines, not just on paper.

What does 98% client retention mean?

98% of clients who complete one project with him come back for a second or move on to an ongoing retainer. It's tracked from actual repeat bookings, not a marketing estimate. That's evidence the delivery process, not just the launch, is what keeps clients coming back.

Which services does he offer?

UI/UX design, website and web application development, enterprise application delivery, SaaS product delivery, growth marketing and technical SEO, branding, and AI and automation are run individually or combined under one schedule when a project spans more than one discipline.

Is his website design and development affordable?

Yes. Fixed fees for scoped projects with a defined deliverable and timeline keep website design and development affordable and predictable, with no agency overhead. A monthly retainer is also available for ongoing work and growth programs. Every engagement starts with a written scope and quote before work begins so there's no ambiguity on cost.

Does he work with clients outside India?

Yes. Current and past clients are based in India, the US, the UK, the UAE, and Australia, with delivery runs async-first and calls scheduled around overlapping working hours.

Can he take over a project that's already late?

Yes. Project rescue is one of the most common reasons clients get in touch. It starts with a short paid audit of the current state, then a re-baselined scope and schedule the client signs off on before work restarts.

How quickly can a project start?

Most projects start within one to two weeks of a signed scope, depending on current capacity. Book a call to check availability.

Tell me what's late.

Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. You describe the project, and I tell you what I'd do first and whether I'm the right person for it. If I'm not, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
